~Living Opportunities Management Company was founded in 1975 by Pastor Leroy Doty in order to provide the highest quality affordable housing for his elderly and disabled low-income parishioners. Initially specializing in affordable housing for the elderly, we have experience managing family units, SROs, and projects for persons with disabilities. We currently manage projects with a variety of funding subsidies including HUD insured and direct loans, project and tenant based Section 8, LIHTC, CHFA, and tax-exempt bonds. Our clients include non-profit and for-profit corporations, limited partnerships and government entities. LOMCO currently manages 23 affordable housing properties for elderly and physically challenged residents. Approximately 2,600 apartment units provide safe, comfortable housing and many needed services to approximately 2,900 individuals living on limited incomes. At each of our properties, we are committed to providing services and programs that not only meet residents the physical, social and psychological needs but also promote a healthy, secure, satisfying and useful lifestyle. In order to effectively administer these critical programs, we’ve embraced innovation while ensuring that we continue to meet our own high standards.
