Procurement Manager

Our team is looking for talented, innovative, and resourceful people to join our Purchasing Team.  These are exciting days for the home furnishing industry.  Now is your chance to join our talented team that delivers luxury art and wall décor to audiences around the world. As a Purchasing and Inventory processor, reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will assist our business groups with all thing’s procurement, and you will have visibility and participation in nearly every phase of the purchasing process.
 
What you will do:

• Perform weekly inventory inspections for re-ordering purposes 
• Enter, research, and change purchase order information from Sage 100 ERP
• Act as liaison for departments by answering questions about available inventory, item description, pricing, and incoming inventory
• Research and evaluate potential vendors and supplies
• Work with team members and supervisors to develop future purchasing plans

What we are looking for:

• High level of proficiency in Excel, proficient in Microsoft Office 
• Minimum 3 years’ experience purchasing 
• Critical thinking abilities 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize 
• Experience taking initiative and maintaining accuracy in all job-related activities 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Nice to have:  Bi-lingual in Spanish and/or Korean

Job Description:

• Establish and implement procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Develop and manage purchasing budgets and forecasts.
• Direct procurement policies to ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints.
• Manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity, and reliability.
• Develop, negotiate, and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of organizational requirements.
• Evaluate contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.
• Identify and source new suppliers and vendors.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Work with relevant departments to manage inventory requirements.
• Manage risk and troubleshoot relating to quality, cost, delivery, and supply of purchases.
• Monitor and reduce purchase variances to meet profit objectives.
• Direct continuous improvement of purchasing processes in line with changing organizational needs and market conditions.
