Speaking at the Small Business Day ceremony at the Sacramento Convention Center, Senator De León praised California’s small businesses as the backbone of the state’s economy, and highlighted JobKoreaUSA.com CEO Brandon Lee’s role in creating economic opportunity in the district.

Operated out of Koreatown in Los Angeles, JobKoreaUSA.com and JobAsiaUSA.com are now among the largest and fastest growing employment websites for Asian Americans around the country. Mr. Lee launched the sites in 2010, creating an online job portal for Asian-Americans where over 4,500 employers and over 50,000 job seekers can connect.

This year, the group launched JobChinaUSA.com to assist companies that are hiring Chinese bilingual professionals. Since 2010, Job Korea USA, Inc. has also organized multiple job fairs in California. Their last job fair held at the L.A. Convention Center on March 27, 2015 hosted more than 7,000 job seekers and 150 exhibitors. (Photos below courtesy of Job Korea USA, Inc.)

Job Korea USA is the first Korean-American business to be honored as the 24th Senate District’s “Small Business of the Year.”
