Job description :Providing technical support for the client carriers' marketing personnel throughout the entire product cycle. Compiling and reviewing the submission package to make sure that all the materials are acceptable to the client carrier. Working with Project Managers and R&D engineers to make sure that the products are satisfying the requirements for common carrier or for specific customer feature and applications operability during the production phase.
R&D:
- Manage technical projects and activities associated with mobile device launches.
- Manage RF, audio, HW employees
- Manage technical projects and activities associated with Maintenance Release(MR) launches.
- Lead the completion of product milestones and deliverables
- Identify deliverables and goals for each phase of device launch and communicate expectations to related departments.
- Act as a primary contact point to the customer for technical issues and device status.
- Serve as a technical lead in solving pre/post device issues:
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel (departments in R&D, Field Engineers, and QA team)
- Coordinate the involved personnel to secure a root cause and a corrective action.
- Prepare reports related to product management, progress, and other related activities as directed by senior managers and directors.
- Work with R&D to prepare analysis and background information required for a Technical Report (TR).
- Maintain Technical Reports (TR) up-to-date while ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Act as a liaison during product planning stage between carriers (and CPM) and R&D. Coordinate carrier’s expectation and R&D’s technical capabilities to find an agreement between the two parties.
- Maintain understanding of all customer requirements and emergency notifications associated with the product, and stay updated with changes in the requirements.
- Manage all certification processes for STA and R&D such as FCC, CTIA, BT, CDG1 (HAC/SAR/TIS), Battery Cell, and other IOTs.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Background & Experience :
- An Associate of Arts or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related electronics technical training in cellular/GSM from two or four-year college or university is preferred.
- Be strong interested in IT and wireless product unless you have electronics technical training.
- Have between 8~9 years technical or telecommunications engineering related experience for the mobile device hardware.
- Must be able to read, analyze and interpret technical journals and procedures.
- Billingual ability(English and Korean) is necessary.

Must be able to communicate in writing,through email and reports, or orally complex technical matters to an audience that may include less technically oriented or listeners.
- Works independently and in a team environment, in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames. Tasks are guided by clearly defined objectives and functional direction with an implied knowledge of task alternatives and decision making experience to guide the incumbent.
- To have technical knowledge of baseband and RF in the hardware side to analyze issue from carrier.
