Position: Customer Service Representative (Full-Time Only) 


SUMMARY 


Hoopla Promo is seeking a highly motived customer service representative to be a part of our 

team! We are looking for a person who has an eye for detail and a strong ability to multi-task 

and prioritize. You must have the ability to work as part of a team as there is a great deal of 

collaboration as well. Being able to clearly communicate is a must.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

(Other duties may be assigned.)


1) Manages all aspects of the daily operations including Customer Service, Front & Back End 

Marketing, Promotions, Database Management, Shipping-Receiving-Facility and Purchasing.


2) Performs all functions of customer service including inbound telephone sales, outbound 

telephone sales, data input, order entry and order processing.


3) Talks with customers and prospects by phone or in person to assist with the processing of 

new or existing orders.


4) Performs the following functions: checks all incoming sales orders, performs product 

research, keeps operating records, files catalogs and samples, takes inventory, and performs 

work of subordinates, as needed.


5) Performs the daily customer service cycle to ensure the timely processing of orders, places 

purchase orders with manufacturers, tracks the orders through delivery, and prepares purchase 

orders to replenish stock merchandise and samples on hand.


6) Performs all Customer Service functions and answers customer's inquiries or complaints.


7) Performs Shipping/Receiving/Facility activities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related 

experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, 

technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business 

correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond 

to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


REASONING ABILITY


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations 

where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in 

written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
