Looking for ASSISTANT BUYER, Ecommerce

DESCRIPTION

A leading ecommerce company is currently seeking an ASSISTANT BUYER for online retail. The Assistant Buyer develops, executes, and communicates merchandise assortment, ecommerce, and financial strategies that support the success of multiple departments. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

-Supports Buyer in the selection and purchase of products from vendor lines based on trend data

 -Assists Buyer in the execution of all related merchandising activities including creating and placing purchase orders, monitoring and tracking order details, and communicating any order revisions to vendors. 

-Responsible for reviewing sales performance and making recommendations to adjust plans

-Assists Buyers and other stakeholders in developing assortments, meeting timing needs with regards to merchandise delivery

-Monitors competitor merchandising in all channels and shares findings weekly

-Prepare reorders over the weekend to ensure purchase and delivery of merchandise the beginning of the week 

Preferred Qualifications

-College degree in Fashion or equivalent business experience

-1+ years merchandising experience; preferably with a large organization in a similar role

-Proficient in MS word and Excel

-Fluent in English and Korean
