Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a material planning process that includes make versus buy, capacity planning, scheduling and inventory.

• Perform analysis of customer demand, price negotiations and provide input to production planning.

• Develop and execute a sourcing strategy to meet the company's business growth and sourcing requirements.

• Oversee a team of buyers, material handlers and receivers.

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process and Quality Engineering to achieve cost reduction targets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required
  

• 4+ years of combined experience in manufacturing, inventory control, and supervising associates.

• SAP experience required with emphasis on material management or supply chain.
  

• Experience with BPCS, AS400, Green Screen, Kanban and/or ERP implementation a plus but not required.

• LEAN manufacturing experience highly preferred.

• Experience working in mid to large-sized companies desired.
  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Must be highly motivated to solve problems, address challenges and be part of a growing organization.
