Role and Responsibilities
Accounting
- General & Project Fund including Gift Money Remittance
- GN Dispatched Staff Housing Support Remittance
- Global Office, Supporting Country, and regional coordinator quaintly budget remittance
- Book Keeping (Online Quick Book)
- Prepare Monthly Report after All banks bookkeeping
- Check the invoices and upcoming payments
- Tax filing
- Audit Report Preparation
HR
- HR File Update and renew the contact
- Payroll report and Run the payroll and Confirm the Payroll tax filing
- Check time card
- Issue 1099 & W2
- Insurance renewal (March-May)
Administrative
- Office Management
Additional Notes
Accountant will abide by the GPC Personnel Policies.
Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
· Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
· Broad understanding and working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting
· Principles and Internal Control Procedures
· Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Online QuickBooks)
· Organization skills
· Bilingual Korean English
· BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
Program Coordinator (Gifts-in-Kind Program)
Role and Responsibilities
GIK Process
- Coordinate GIK procedures with support countries and field countries from procurement of GIK goods.
- Monitor the distribution and inventory of GIK items in the field countries
- Initiate and monitor outbound logistics process and prepare export shipping documents.
- Support importation, such as tax exemption and import authorization, of GIK goods for the field countries.
- Responsible for communicating and expanding relationships with corporate donors and other nonprofit charities directly for GIK.
GIK Planning
- Prepare of Annual Plan of Action, Mid-Long term planning and budget for GIK.
- Develop and evaluate polices and guidelines for GIK.
- Research and develop GIK strategies based on the GIK needs in the partnership countries.
Qualifications and Competencies
· Entry-level
· 1+ years of related experience is plus
· Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
· Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies
· Excellent social, interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact with culturally diverse staff, program and participants.
· Bilingual Korean English
Salary:
$19-22/hr depending on experience
