1. Director of Finance / Adminstration
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and systems to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department
- Provide timely and accurate monthly financial reports, analysis of budget variances, cash flow monitoring, and endowment reports
- Partner with senior management and board leadership to monitor the organization’s financial health and respond to current operations and the external financial environment
- Manage relationships with banks, investment managers, external auditor, insurance broker, benefits administrator, facility services, and payroll service
- Responsible for day-to-day operations, including payroll, accounts payable, revenue posting, endowment accounting, and general ledger monthly closings
- Invoice preparation and invoice processing
- AR/AP management
- Accounting and financial reporting
- Asset management
- Managing the annual external audit process and liaising with group auditors
- Reviewing and implementing corporate governance and other legal requirements
- Perform advanced employee relations functions including support and counseling regarding personnel and job-related conflicts, problem solving and dispute resolution, managing employee performance issues, review, and assessment of termination requests
- Ensure staff compliance with all personnel policies
- Manage insurance relationship with broker to obtain adequate coverage, negotiate competitive pricing, and ensure compliance with insurance contracts
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects, including but not limited to, staffing project, evaluations, employee benefit management etc., as well as, serving as additional support to the team
- Any other HR related tasks as well as the assigned administrative task
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any other related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, General Administration and/or any other related experience
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY (BILINGUAL PROFICIENCY)
- English/Korean: Proficient written and verbal communication skills

3. HR Manageer
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs the full recruitment cycle including review of job descriptions, creating, and posting jobs, screening resumes, completing phone and in person interviews
- Answer various inquiries from prospective and current employees through multiple channels (e.g., e-mail, phones)
- Conduct exit interviews as needed
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry, processing, and auditing of employee transactions.
- Partner with Finance on employee payroll related matters.
- Administer vacation days and sick days for the employees
- Gather and maintain personnel documents and records
- Advise employees of health benefits and manages benefits enrollment and benefit changes
- Prepares documentation and performs activities related to employee onboarding, promotions, performance review tracking, internal transfers and other employee changes
- Inputs, updates, maintains and reports on data in an HRIS system and other tracking systems
- Promptly escalate any items requiring management’s attention
- Perform other administration related duties as assigned
Language Proficiency (Bilingual Proficiency)
- English / Korean: Proficient written and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degrees and/or above required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in administration, staffing, recruiting, human resources, or project management
