Responsible for Managing the Accounting team, business plan, closing, cost analysis, taxes, asset, process improvement and providing reports to management.
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Responsible for company tax related issues
- Oversee Accounting and Finance operations
- Cost accounting analysis
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments
- Manage the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues and expenses
- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
- Continue to develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations
- SAP CO/FI experience preferred
- High Organizational Skills Required!
- Work requires professional written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- 6+ years of upper level accounting and/or finance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- CPA preferred but not required
