The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is a government organization promoting Korea as a tourist destination to visitors around the world. The New York branch office is seeking an Information Officer to serve as an ambassador for Korea tourism in the U.S. We are looking for a member who possesses a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a service-oriented mind to help strengthen Korea’s positioning as an attractive destination within the US.

Responsibilities
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions and seminars

- Conduct market research and provide tourism information for clients

- Manage incoming/outgoing packages and deliveries

- Manage media relations, press release, newsletter, etc

- Manage the branch office social media sites

- Other marketing support tasks

Preference
- Speak Korean and English at in idiomatic level (Bilingual)

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field; hospitality and tourism, etc

- Skills with Microsoft Office

- SNS Marketing experience & skills

- High degree of interest in Korean culture

- Willingness to travel

- Must be legally eligible to work in the US (VISA Sponsorship is NOT offered)

 * This is a full-time position (with training period). Interested candidates should be able to start from September 12, 2023

Offered salary

 - USD 48,000 ~ 51,156 annual gross salary depending on ability

    (contract conditions: 2 month-probation)

- Working hours : 9am – 5pm on Mon.-Fri

- Location : Korea Tourism Organization New York Office

  (400 Kelby St, Suite 1602, Fort Lee, NJ 07024)

 * Moving to a new office (122 E 32nd St, New York, NY 10016) during December 2023 or 1st quarter of 2024 (moving schedule is subject to change depending on the situation)
